Thank you so, so much for this video. You are a Godsend! I mada a shell stitched baby blanket and wanted to put a border around it but couldn't because of the shell edge on one side. Now I know how to straighten that edge! Thank you so much for all your wonderful teaching videos!

Wow! Thank you so much for this. I was watching your video about how to do a shell stitch, and was wondering if I could straighten it out, and then figured, "Hey, maybe she already did a video on this!" And lo and behold, here it is. Talented AND psychic. What a woman!

I did this tutorial shortly after I made the hat. I had many requests on how to straighten the edge.

Hi Teresa.. I'm so inspired by you..just love t watch your videos...
I have been working on the solomon's knot baby dress.... and have finished the length of it....and Im not to happy with the edging as its uneven...curled up at some and looking longer at some.
I know You have not added any edging the dress.
but what kind of edge would you suggest in this case..to give it a proper finished look.

I would suggest a single crochet if you are looking for a straight finished edge.
