Super Mario Galaxy: Beware of Bouldergeist - Skip Star Chips

This is much more difficult than it looks. I could see this being frustrating even on a segmented speed run. Also, this may not save much time. It probably only saves a few seconds at most since the star chips can be retrieved quickly. There is probably an easier way to do this, but I haven't found it yet.

I like looking for speed tricks. But, I would really suck at a speedrun. It takes a lot of dedication and patience, and I doubt I could sustain the concentration necessary even on a segmented run. Also, there are plenty of things in SMG I'm not very fast at.

i remembered about the ghostly galaxy. the funny thing is that if you turn mario into a ghost, the real ghost of the game starts falling in love with mario.

I think it has to be exactly right. There might be an easier way, but I don't know what it would be. I died about 100 times doing this.
