Shattered Steel Soundtrack

This is track #9 of the PC-CDROM game Shattered Steel from Bioware. This game was released in 1996, one of the few mech games of that decade.

Do you notice the similarity between this theme and the main them from the Speed soundtrack from Mark Mancina?

If I recall correctly, the demo version of this game had a mech which could not be found in the full version of the game...

@PredatorYT That's possible. My version of the game will not run in Windows 7 and I can't find the demo. Now I want to play... The the mechwarrior game trend seems to be dead now.

I noticed the similarity back in '96. SS was 1 of my favourite soundtracks of that decade - the music fit the combat so well. Back then I would chuck the ROM into my CD player and make old Cassette mix tapes with other great OSTs like MechWarrior2/GBL/Mercs and the first AvP
