At John Lobb, one of Britain's last remaining bespoke shoemakers, little has changed since 1849. Perri Lewis unlocks the door to a lost world of craftsmanship
@pitoupanda1 Actually, there is the original John Lobb (found only at 9 St. James's Street, where this video is made) who makes only bespoke shoes (starting at 2,790£) and the Hermes owned John Lobb (which is found all over the world, including 88 Jermyn Street) who offers both ready to wear (starting at $1,200) and bespoke (starting at $6,500)
1750$ is a usual price for John Lobb ready to wear shoes (check on the US e shop). And you can buy them in Paris, NY or London... Bespoke is much more expensive (2500£), but it's because it is bespoke, not because it's in London...
Same think for a Savile row, Gieves & Hawkes proposes ready to wear and bespoke, not the same price, but different products.
(just for fun, but it's a little bit sad, it belongs to the French group Hermès)
One should note that there are indeed two companys dealing as John Lobb. The original one is the one shown here, the other company has only bought the rights of the name but has nothing to do with the original John Lobb business but runs shops in Paris and America, even an online shop with redy-to-go-shoes.... So, if one would like to buy th real thing, he has to go to John Lobb at St James in London.

$1750 would be John Lobb Paris.
The bespoke shoes at John Lobb in London are much more expensive, but worth it.
