That's harsh. She doesn't wish she was Chaka. She sang backup for Chaka on the original and notice that Chaka is in the video and she's jut trying to pay homage. She's trying so hard because she wants to live up to Chaka's standard. Plus, her voice is completely different, so it's hard to really compare the two because she tries to use her more pop-friendly voice to sing a song originally sung by a soul singer.
