This is the most demanding catapult machine design I've attempted, to date. That it works at all, much less very reliably, is fairly astonishing. For physics buffs, note that the throwing arm is aimed almost at a tangent to the circle of rotation. Very tricky!

    I had a rig, which put most of the camera weight on the center post. So, there was very little interference with the mechanism.
