Exploring the Newfoundland railway #28 Holyrood railway quarry

Today we took a look at the old Holyrood Railway quarry and afterwords took a hike down the mainline about 2kms from the quarry where a few cabins are located, and about 1km past that we walked as far as the old tressel crossing a small brook, this is as far as we went today as rain and fog hampered the hike.
We shall return another day, and walk from this bridge all the way into Avondale!
