  • this is some sick stuff man! your hands & your feet are on a pretty incredible level. what i love the most is the sound of your kit, i also use the EC2's & your videos remind me why i chose them, haha. what mics/recording software are you using to mix your kit?

  • @XXiDrum4LifeXX I used Rode NT5 Overheads, Senheiser E 904, Sure SM 58, Akg 112 and all with cubase 5. But i am thinking of gping with Logic and changing the AKG 112 to a Sennheiser 905

  • You know I've said before that you and I basically have the same style only you've practiced more than me and gotten further? Well... I also now noticed that we have the same taste in drummers... I might not be a fan of Joey or Travis but Haake, Pridgen, Greb, Royster, Chad Smith and Aaron Spears are major influences for me! Not to mention the legends :)

AND DO WAX SIMULACRA NOW!!! UPLOAD!!!

Also Sabian and DW is the only right way. Unless you can afford the big shot turkish cymbals, right?! :)

  • @TheMojoBeat Nice Bro ;) Dude .... turkish cymbals are not even close to Sabians. They are a upcoming no name company with decent products. From what i´ve seen they are not as good in my opinion.

  • @gosu1234 Hm. Well, Sabian originates from Zildjian and Zildjian is originally turkish... But I guess you knew that.

But anyway, the best cymbals I've played have been from brands like Istanbul and Bosphorous. But I'd probably never buy any of them. My sound is mostly Sabian HHX or AAX :)

  • @TheMojoBeat I know that. I thought you were talking about the brand "turkish". Istanbul, Bosphorous, Turkish, you name them .... just their thin cymbals sound good, like thin Stagg cymbals, but that has nothing to do with material quality. They are never the Quality of old turkish Zildjans. Some of those old Zildjans sound awesome, are really rare and expensive. But they don´t fit the music i am making. They are to quiet. Back in the old days, they couldn´t make the cymbals as hard.

  • Man I'd have to say that u blow larz out the water

  • gotta ask, whats your take on the legacy hats? I'm considering getting pair and your vidoes came up when i searched for them on youtube.

  • I'm inspired lol

  • lol.. i was wondering why i hadnt hit the sub button by the time i made it 2 minutes in ur video. ur goin places bro, if u havent already

  • What the fuck you're the first on youtube that you has capable to do the intro of Wax Simulacra (ThemarsVolta) and you do not make a cover, dude you're weird !! (joke.) btw you're really awesome at drumming and your stuff is sick as hell !!!!

  • @gosu1234 Yeah the K-series got some great stuff. Probably the only REALLY good cymbals Zildjian ever made atleast that I've heard. Really thick and powerful sound and it's just awesome.

My dream setup would be for jazz: K-ride (I know which one, just not the name of it. But I've played it and fell in love). Bosphorous 18 crash that we have in school. O.M.G. It sounds so good it should be illegal.

For rock: Same K-ride (versatile :D) and one 16" HHX evolution crash and a 17" AAX Stage Crash :)
