Free Spirit knows How to Talk to an Autistic Kid

"I know How to Talk to an Autistic Kid!" was Team Free Spirit's mantra at the Fraser Walk for Autism, where over 1,000 people gathered at the Mall of America in Minneapolis to raise money for critical autism services for local children and families.

Also there to help raise awareness was Free Spirit's fourteen-year-old author Daniel Stefanski. As the author of "How to Talk to an Autistic Kid" (and an autistic kid himself), Daniel signed copies of his book and offered advice about how to get along with autistic kids.

In his book, Daniel provides a clear explanation of what it's like to be autistic, and gives readers the tools they need to befriend autistic kids. Daniel says, "even though my brain is different, I'm still a kid. I like to have fun and want to have friends."
