Ole Miss (if they're lucky) puts themselves into a position to tie our shoes.

@DanielSimpsonDayye Yeah Goode returned the 2nd half kick-off for a td that put us up 31-14. Then after the Goode injury Doug Flutie, of course, went to work on us. That loss will stand to me as one of the most disappointing ones of the 80's (along with the one we lost at their place the year before).

@WillHear432 Thanks,I remember that game. Seems like we were ahead like 31-0 and lost when Goode got hurt.

@DanielSimpsonDayye Tider Insider said that he was named the starter for the '84 season (after being injured in '83) but he was injured again in the season opener against Boston College. It said he then quit the team after a falling out with coach Perkins.

@DanielSimpsonDayye That's a good question. I barely remember him playing for us. It sure was entertaining though seeing coach Bryant alternating his QB's. So many great running QB's.

@WillHear432 What ever happened to Paul Fields?
You ever wonder what if coach bryant would of had mark ingram and trent richardson at split half backs in the wishbone offense. I mean he had some really great backs over the years but would of loved to of seen them 2 back there behind someone like steadman shealy. Love the video man...RTR

@kg4ua I would like to see Coach Saban line our offense up in the Wishbone, just one play, maybe a goal line situation. Can you imagine the cheers from Bryant Denny? Thanks....RTR!1

Coley and Gray was a good combination, if only they could have avoided fumbling and the injury bug.

@WillHear432You're right, Coley could have been one of the best but he was injured a lot.
