    if that "rubin " had alot to do with these 2 songs.....then ..i dont know whats gona happen to their LEGACY, musics great however the lyrics are juvenile.

    i wasnt thrilled about Van Halens akbum either .

    Oh, I thought the Van Halen album was amazing. Particularly the way they brought all those old tunes out of the closet and polished them up.

    Beyond that I just dont trust his recording practices. Sabbath is a band that is meant to be record live in a good room. Someone like albini should do it.

    The thing I like about Rubin's technique is that he tends to avoid using effects and that he records in a way that gives you the sound of the room and (until recently) a good sense of the dynamics. Albini is fine as a producer, too.

    We need another kickass original Sabbath record to properly finish off their legacy. Never Say Die was OK, but not the album for them to go out on. I just hope Rubin doesn't screw this one up.
