  • @TheChinawall

I second that emotion! One of the greatest voices of all time. His premature death in a plane crash deprived us of so much wonderful music. THANKS for your comment! :-)

  • Tried everything a few years ago, wrote to Scottish newspapers, forces reunited put a searcher on it for me who came up with names, but they were all dead ends. Still hope someone might know them, in fact when the email came I thought I had struck lucky. I live in hope.

  • @brinorl Have you tried Friends United

  • Outstanding!

  • In 1957 i was playing guitar for a quartet at RAF St. Athan in Wales and this was one of our songs. If only I could contact them now, Alec Beatty, Sandy Sandford, Ron ? and cant remember the other, I have a CD made from a tape we recorded.

  • @1971catherine My mum and dad did the same .

  • Jim Reeves died in a small plane crash outside of Nashville in the wooded foothills. it took well over a day for rescuers to reach him. sad footnote to this story is that Jim died just a few hours before the reached him.. its too bad that they didnt have todays technology maybe he would still be here
