Those bands Including the Mach 2 lineup of the Harlots were signed and had more than enough to record and produce and a great rock CD or Album for $100.000 odd It was only a cheap stop gap measure of work and hope before getting a deal, turns it was our Band Manager who held us all back thats our own fault now in reflection, but If you were not there when I was rocking the Kardomah or another one of our dens. I'm sorry you didnt like that version of Danger. I was 17 years old when I did that.

Us we were broke and couldn't afford to release a shit demo that was meant for just hearing the songs.. because we had been holding out to release some thing good with a label and money to do a decent recoding and get a good producer. So we released a few thousand singles and they sold it so fast , It broke a record.

They, as in The original Candy Harlots and the many lineups after were nothing alike really, especially if you can knock Mark Easton.. You obviously never saw him live. Both Harlots are 2 different bands mate The original lineup that paved the way and did years of work that because the Australian Industry was so backwards Baby Animals started supporting us.. a lot did the Screaming Jets before the big hits..

but ironically the very record deal that we negotiated back "87" was the same record company but when they signed they had been given a massive advance to record their video and Album, Hire a producer and pay yourself whist your not at work.. so how can you compare the two??? 5 Wicked Ways is good but a large portion of the songs were from ex members who had died or left or quit.

I have to say they are both very different bands, for 1 the original lineup were together for 4 years and had to do all of our releases with money from Shows and our day jobs.. To cut a very long story short we got together in "86 - 87" Christmas.To record and and press the single and film the Danger clip which we all hated cause it was shot on Video with no audience, we had no money ..

most of the people who comment on this stuff never saw the band in its heyday, and if they did they probably got sour grapes cos you banged their girlfriend or their mum! ha ha ha ha!

SORRY to say, this just doesnt cut it compared to the Wicked Ways version with AIZ, its tame and borderline boring, the singer struggles at times
