Our neighbor needed some help with her zero turn mower. It made the worst noise whenever the deck was engaged.

  • you can change just the bearings without removing the deck. you did alot of work that didn't need done. i have 8 of these mowers and a bearing change is about a 15 minute change out. made to be done in the field.

  • @Brookeoz08 Thanks for the info!

  • awsome mower. Always wondered what it would be like to have one like that.

  • @tom58c It is a lot of fun to mow with this mower!

  • @231MasseyFerguson We didn't change the fuel filter at that time, but we did change it later. Thanks for the tip on the Ethanol, I've heard it's bad stuff to leave sitting.

  • @edzgarage At that price, that is exactly what I'd have done too. Ya'll done a Perfect Job on this!! One thing I noticed that you didn't mention was Did you change the fuel filter when you serviced the engine? If not, you should make it top Priority to do so, because, Trust Me, with all this Ethanol going into gasoline now, It will and I do mean WILL leave you sitting there wondering why the engine died and won't start. (experience)

  • @vidman008 Thanks Ron! The whole spindle was replaced. I don't know if we could have replaced the bearings only. The part was $88, so I just replaced it all.

  • Nice job Ed ( and Helper ) Did the entire spindle have to be replaced? Don't they sell just the bearings, or was it too far gone? That was a fine job.. Thanks for Sharing.

  • @Chooman69 Yeah, I was surprised to see the good old USA! It mows so good that we did buy it for $2500, and she paid for the repairs.

  • You found parts that were made in the USA?

How much are they going to sell that for? That would cut the cutting time by about 70%
