  • fantastic. thank you very much. can you post the whole soundtrack. the movie was a wonderful rendition of the book, which I am quite certain Orwell would have been reasonably pleased with.

  • Thanks.

I'm not going to upload the whole album though. You can probably find the CD for a reasonable price if you want it.

  • Thanks for uploading this. On vinyl, no less. Very nice.

  • perhaps one day the director of this episode of 1984 will come out and apologize for denigrating a beautiful and superbly crafted work of creative musical art. ie. 1984 by the Eurythmics.

you hurt us man - Annie and Dave worked hard and put their heart and soul into this and you wanted the limelight for your own creation and yours alone.

you english can be a funny bunch.

  • flaming asshole

  • It is good that this nauseating Eurythmics crap was removed from the brilliant film, 1984

  • Three people are inner party members.

  • @manoova Like David Lynch must have seen NIGHT OF THE HUNTER by Charles Laughton...

  • I have danced to this song in a candle lit room with my eyes closed, and it's cathartic. Hell, darken a room and dance to the whole album...you'll find you hit pretty much every emotion.

  • I just visited the Victoria and Albert museum in London where there was an exhibition in the theatre and performance section by Annie Lenox. There were artefacts and costumes relating to the Eurhythmics various albums , but (some one can correct me if im wrong ) there was nothing relating to the 1984 Album which is a shame as I think its one of there best and most creative.

  • oh wow! i haven't heard this in about 15 years... thanks so much!!!!

  • @manoova haha, that's exactly what I thought!
