Visual Skills Training Helps Young Readers (Three minutes)

The Gemstone Foundation is a non-profit that carries out research on reading-related vision problems in schools. Our research shows that children who read below grade level often have problems with coordinating the two eyes or tracking, or even with re-focusing them rapidly. Children who improve their visual skills via an internet-based training program at school also tend to improve their reading skills.
