This 2.5 - 3 M shark which appeared to be a Bull Shark was sighted of Greenmount beach on the Gold Coast by the Gold Coast City Council MarineWatch Aircraft. It came within two meters of Surfers. Lifeguards were alerted and dispatched a jetsski to herd the shark out to sea .You will notice in the last frames the shark accelerating towards the surfers. Except for the series of waves breaking on top of it , and the arrival of the council wave runner to herd it away, this might not have had a happy ending. The turbulence from Greenmount hill resulted in the camera movement.
