  • here in mexico the pico de gallo is chopped tomato, onion and chile, with a few drops of lemon, but it is logical that there are many ways to prepare your style

  • I don't agree with removing the skin. Dumb move!

  • This looks sooo healthy and good. Thanks

  • nice job!

  • the tomato must be completely raw.end

  • Seems like blanching the tomatoes to remove the skin made them a bit soft for something like this.....didn't look bad at all though and should taste pretty much the same if the skin was left on

  • i would use minced garlic tbh, noone likes chewing bits of chopped garlic!

  • is the original mexican recipe involving all the tomato, or do you need to deseed it first.

  • YUM!! Looks good!

  • @stogiedude I agree with your comment 100%

  • Geez, people. If someone from around Jalisco were to watch this, they would say "What? Pico Di Gallo is made with Jicama and oranges, not tomatoes and onions!" There are REGIONAL differences, folks. This is perfectly acceptable pico di gallo, in the northern style, although I agree I would not blanch and skin the tomatoes or add garlic. But, does your mom make meatloaf exactly the way Mrs. Jones down the street does? No? Is one of them wrong, and the other right? Or are they just different?
