Desecration of our Canadian Flag

On May 22, 2008, I was hiking above East Trail British Columbia, taking video of the hiking trails in the area. Much to my shock, I found that some vandal(s) spray painted graffiti on one of the three Canadian Flags that flies on rock cliffs above Trail BC, Canada.

Now a movement is underway in the Greater Trail area to donate funds to help purchase and erect better flagpoles to help protect our nation symbol of unity and heritage from such disrespect and vandalism by those half wits that can't find better ways to make their political statement about Canadian peace keeping forces being in Afghanistan.

Now residents of the area stand on guard to watch our Canadian flags more closely.

@hyurgy123 Listen, we all want diversity, but we do NEVER do such things. I know in Romanian celebrations, Romanian officials say " I am glad we are able to integrate into this wonderful society so fast and so nicely"

And sometimes, if (example) the celebration happens in a municipality, the mayor of that municipality is invited, and they usually say "We are so happy to have such a good Romanian presence here in [City N]"

In consequence, we respect the Canadian flag
