  • yeah its been months since i posted this and no responses, i know theres lots of people who would really appreciate learning how to play it, my self included, i know how to read tabs but those tabs don't make any sense, i don't know if its tuned differently but whoever makes the how to vid for it would know.

I've found a tab of this song a while ago. I've not learned it yet, but I think I'm goona go for it :)

I can send it to you, if you feel like it.

I'm not quite sure but I think there is two guitars on the mushishi's opening. You won't be able to play it exactly as it is on the opening. It's pretty much the same though.

    It sounds great...!!!!!

  • i think ally kerr use a 12 string guitar, maybe thats why the tab you talking about sounds crappy

  • @Axis050 Make that "pull off on the 5th and 3rd frets one by one, then refret the third" - typo

  • Try this guys:

Go to ultimate-guitar(dot)com and search for "sore feet song". Pick the misc unsigned bands one with (currently) 4 votes at 5 stars.

I assume you're talking about the intro being difficult. Capo on 4. Fret your high E string at 2, 3, and 5. Now play it, but pull off on the 5th and 4th frets one by one, then refret the third, play and pull off the third again.

It's similar to the "Taylor" intro by Jack Johnson, just pull-offs instead of hammer ons. Tell me if you have trouble.

  • okay - please go to /watch?v=MzkF9QTOQEg&feature=related. there is a guy who knows how to play it, although he has a slightly different rhythm, but this can be corrected just by listening and playing it enough.

he's also a guitar teacher. go to his channel and ask... no, DEMAND (politely) that we'd love (must have) a how to video for this song.

    thanks in advance.

  • I entered the tabs on Guitar pro 5, and it does not sound right. the tabs are not accurate.

  • @Anime92

I attempted playing this song but the tabs are nutsss. I'm gonna try again soon, though. If you made a how-to video, that would be totally helpful!!

  • Did you learn how to play it the way the tabs say? Or gave up when you saw how crazy they are?
