The Open Road has a fantastic 1963 Austin Healey 3000 on our self drive classic car hire fleet. This is a brilliant touring car with loads of torque making climbing hills almost effortless. This video shows the Austin Healey climbing the two steepest hills in Warwickshire - Edgehill 14% (site of the famous civil war battle) then across the top of Edgehill, past the famous Castle Inn and down Sunrising Hill - 16% at the Eastern edge of the escarpment. We then turn round and come back up Sunrising Hill, across the top again and down Edgehill.

For more details of the Austin Healey see http://www.theopenroad.co.uk/static_228.htm or phone 0845 -070- 5142 to book day in the car.

There is a 10% discount for anyone booking a car and saying they saw it on YouTube.

  • What a lovely trip along some really nice country roads in what has to be the most beautiful and charismatic sports car of all time! Or maybe I'm just biased - I just love the Healey 3000 to bits!!

    Thanks for the journey.
