  • What is that black and red thumb shifter mounted above the left wheel well?

    Does it control the tilting of head light?

    Is that the horn down on the floor at the base of the right wheel well?

  • Yes, the lever controls the angle of the front light (up/down). Not sure which part you're referring to at the base of the wheel well. Perhaps the water bottle cage? The horn is mounted in the base of the fairing near the nose, so I don't think that you can see it in this clip. Thanks.

  • Do you like the Quest better than the Versatile? Did you consider all the major manufacturers?

  • Fortunately (as I work with bluevelo) I don't have to make a choice and have the opportunity to ride a variety of velomobiles. As far as comparisons, if you are looking for a fast smooth ride, then it is hard to match the Quest. In contrast I find the Versatile an excellent design for more "around town/urban" riding as its shorter length, tight turning radius and Rohloff hub lend themselves very well to that environment. Both are very comfortable and a lot of fun.

  • So how much was it?

  • Information regarding prices on a number of velomobile models can be found at the bluevelo website. Thanks.

  • and how is the comparison between quest and waw? both are fast but differ in construction. maybe you can tell some pros and cons of both of them :)

  • is the body made of carbon fiber like F1 cars?

  • Your absolutly right. When I looked at it before, for some reason I thought it something with a couple of wires sticking out of it but when you said water bottle cage it looked crystal clear.

    As my kids would tell you, dad has had a brain fart....(-;

  • You rotate the bars at the top of the tiller to steer left and right. Not sure how that compares to the old biplanes. Thanks
