  • "jesus taught the value of private property"?

  • Not that I know of, but I wasn't there to witness such words. It does seem a little strange when you think about the turning of tables. but I don't see the Evangelists as Christians!!!

    BTW I'm not Religious!!!

  • Thanks for the time to post more interesting material sly.

  • My pleasure, the last part of this should be uploaded within an hour

  • Make no mistake. God is going to judge the sin of this world. But that still is not an excuse to try to use the state or military to force Christianity on the world. Both the right and left try to use the state to force their values from the top down. The answer is simply follow the Constitution. Values will vary from State to State.

  • @tescoid Jesus did not advocate the State seizing your wealth in his name and redistributing it.

  • The average fundamentalist Christian has no interest in 'taking over the world". Christ's kingdom is in the hearts of men. And it is fine for an evangelical Christian to be President. But his beliefs should cause him to be HONEST and follow the rule of law without partiality. That is why I support Ron Paul.

  • The gov't wasn't becoming hostile. It was becoming neutral. The problem appears when the religious doctrine itself is bound to the idea that non-believers must be assimilated and/or converted. The gov't is hostile to this idea that to be a Christian means that everyone around you is Christian. In fact, this attitude encourages the same crap that Communism does where the impact your actions have you is not important compared to the impact on the whole of society.

  • @tescoid Jesus implored his disciples to forego all worldly wealth. Billy Graham's a damn liar and I'm not even Christian.

  • John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Pastor John Hagee claims that jews can go to heaven without belief in Christ! Men like Falwell, Graham and other Christian-Zionist are wolves in sheep's clothing!

  • Ezekiel 38:11 "And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land"

This prophecy does not sound like present day Israel!

  • @SuperAntiZionist

    1 Timothy 6:17-18

"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share"

  • @ImagesByDavid said "Jesus taught economic socialism"

    Exactly.

  • @tescoid

    Jesus taught economic socialism...

  • did jesus really teach the value of private property?Im not so sure billy, if so when

  • @SadieMirsade i couldn't agree more the conservatives have done nothing but ruin america and take the republican party straight down the drain with it.

  • @SadieMirsade Agreed. I also find it galling how evangelicals shamelessly try to pass off their newfound love for Israel as proof that they never had an antisemetic track record in the past. They don't support Israel because they feel that jews are worthy of human dignity or respect. They support Isreal because they believe doing so will hasten the end days depicted in Revelations. Some of the biggest antisemites in history were evangelicals.

    Their post apocalyptic wetdream

  • @jstephenj

    Yup, totally agree.

America went from being led by enlightened landed gentry and elite intelligentsia, to being run by "Rich White Trash".

As they say in my native tongue: "The fish STINKS from the HEAD".

You wanna become a president, you'd better make a pilgrimage to Israel, show up in church once in a while (make sure you've got your OWN minister), and at least pretend, once in a while...that...you're also a bit THICK, or a bit plain...dumb.

  • @SadieMirsade The difference is that Kennedy actually stated that though he was a Catholic, he was by no means bound by the dictates of the Vatican. He also uttered the term "separation of church and state", a term that has seemingly become poison for today's liberal/progressive politicians to say. It saddens me because someone like Thomas Jefferson could never be elected today in this polarizing landscape. The Founding Fathers did not have christian fundamentalism in mind when they came here.

  • After watching this I realized that Kennedy had it almost as bad as Obama.

The BIG difference is that Kennedy didn't have to BECOME a PROTESTANT in order to become a president.

Obama conveniently (memories of Menem in Argentina, and his opportune conversion) became a Christian. I have a gut feeling that he's just another agnostic who has to feign piety in order to get elected.

  • At 3:54 Falwell says that "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" isn't true.

  • Bush the 9/11 demolition man is psychopath void of any conscience.

  • FUCKYOURGODINTHEASS i love your username! HILARIOUS and yet so serious!

  • I sure do not miss fallwell.

    C. Hitchens said that if you gave fallwell an enima, there wouldn't be enough of him left to bury in a match box.

I don't make a habit of bashing the dead, but in falwells case I make an exception.
