Deutcshe Bank Building Deconstruction Animation HD

An animation I had the opportunity to art-direct at Focus360. Governor Pataki presented the animation to the public to give them a better understanding of the steps taken to deconstruct the condemned Deutcshe Bank building after parts of the World Trade Center buildings fell into it. Props to Boer for his help with the interiors and 3d bulldozers in the nth hour. In a random note, it actually cost them more to deconstruct this building than it did to erect it in the first place.

As of February 2011, the Deutsche Bank Building demolition work has been completed, and work on Tower 5 has begun.
