It's time to MEET THE NATIVES: USA. Insightful, entertaining and unforgettable, the extraordinary journey of 5 men from the remote Pacific island of Tanna across the USA will force us to look at ourselves through brand-new eyes.

Why are we so obsessed with money and possessions? Why do we treat our pets better than some of our fellow citizens? What does "family" mean to us? What do we do with our elderly? How come we make all our important decisions in bars? And what's the point of ironing a shirt?

The Tanna tribe dances their way into America's hearts as they crisscross the country from high society Manhattan to the big sky of Montana. Whether it's mud baths and roller coasters in Orange County, CA, sharing a Thanksgiving feast in America's heartland, or touching snow for the first time, these tribesman spread their wisdom and kindness on their mission to meet the natives of the USA.

@Annahealthseeker I am very lucky, I am Canadian and my Doc is very into working with a Naturopath so I can get the best of both worlds. My mother gets the same treatment and she actually reversed her Osteoporosis with natural meds. Me, it's my Thyroide. We distill our water and eat only fresh/ organic meats and veggies along with great supplements. I wish everyone could have the same care.

"When we inject the cow and we eat it I worry it might spoil our bodies" so 'simple' natives can figure this out & Americans with multiple degrees can't??? Overeducated yet lacking common sense. Most "food" in America is fake- artificial colors/ flavors/ sweeteners, addictive chemicals, carcinogens, etc. We suffer from obesity, heart disease, cancers, diabetes in record numbers. 'Pay the (small, organic) farmer or pay the doctor'. Your ins co will not fully cover treatments & will bill you $20K

I finished watching Food, Inc. this week which showed the US feedlot system of raising cattle, the unnatural food that's being fed to cows and the antibiotics that have to be used because overcrowding causes disease. I’m guessing most Americans don’t ever think about this, let alone question it. These very astute guys from Tanna come along and see instantly the flaws in the system!

Who’s the smarter? The men with the technology, or these so-called “simple” guys from Tanna?
