    yes, this antenna can trasfer (144/430/1200 Mhz), from 5W of tx power stay 1W or less to trassmition.

  • @supercow6 Well you done a good job as it is very clear and informative! I have the same radio and have just got the diamond shr805s and it performs exactly the same for me! There is about a 50% reduction in tx/rx strengths compared to the supplied antenna 73's from 2e1dxy Charlie.

    Short antenna can be used in any position. As I listen with an antenna with a length 16" (Nagoya NA-775)

    I have to keep it upright radio, 5 degrees and the signal disappears.

    With a long antenna for 145 MHz I can hear clearly, there is nothing short antenna.
