MUST LISTEN TO THIS MAN VERY CAREFULLY - did you hear what he said about murdock and the pressure on blairs government to sign up to the treaty or murdock's papers wouldn't back them? that's the world we live in people - it's disgusting absolute disgrace - and tony benn telling i like it is - this not hidden from us - its public knowledge and we lap it up - i've lost faith in the british people entirely now.... why dont we do something about this? so our government is contolled by likes of him?!

@2edsajdmsa Collaborator! you support the oppressor!
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety
-
I really want Britain to stay in the EU because I like the four freedoms I have as a European Citizen, but what My Benn is saying is most frightening.

tony wedgwood benn his dad was a mp and his granddad in the house of lords I DO BELEAVE

That all depends on how that "rich person" uses his/her money, doesn't it? It is a person's actions that determine if they are "good" or "bad" not their social status, skin colour etc.
And we will always have persons richer than others but we can reduce the gap between them.
-
@Draugh39 Well no a white person can't help being white, a rich person though can give away all their money. As long as we have multi millionaires (like Lord Benn) we will always have poor people.
-
sort of. To expand it:
The fact that you have money but want to have a system which makes people more economically equal, is no more strange than having a white person in South Africa 30 years ago arguing against apartheid.
ok?
-
@Draugh39 Only if that white person isn't a racist themselves.
-
No more strange than a white person criticising white racism, isn't it?
"a theft of public rights" this man speaks the truth

That's very disturbing the thing he said at 8.20 and very true. EU membership has underminded the fundemental principle of democracy which is a government cannot bind its sucessors.
