  • This or the Bk2 By Ka-bar?

  • @Hordesthugz13 Let me ask a clarifying question: LMF II or BK2, for what? A wilderness knife? A "tactical" knife? A camp knife?

  • @FranchiseChronicles Survival Knife

  • @Hordesthugz13 Having both I can tell you that I would rather have the BK2 with me in the woods than the LMF II. If someone's use is military or wants to attach it to their LBE, than I would rather have the LMF II. BK 2 is wildnerness, LMF II could be, but is better served, in my opinion, in that tactical role.

  • Great video! My favourite knife ever!

  • @fluttering13 Don't take it as gospel but I think ASEK stands for Assault Survival Egress Knife and is the one that comes with the belt cutter tool and a little sturdier sheath design. It's primary role is tactical and urban survival. The standard LMF II only has the knife,a bit less of a sheath and no belt cutter, which is actually the egress tool.It really has no primary role beyond heavy duty, general purpose.Or I could be totally wrong.

  • HEY WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LMF II AND THE LMF II A.S.E.K? AND WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM SAYING SURVIVAL AND INFANTRY?

  • good back up knife , i partner the lmf with a butchers knife while hunting in nz ,good to go, oh yes 0:41 he points to a part on the knife ,becareful while chopping limbs of trees because the rubber edge can tear if it comes in hard contact, but its a knife not an axe & it looks good with a few rough edges

  • IS RAY ROMANO ( EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND ) WORKING PART TIME AT FRANCHISE CHRONICLES ?

  • can you sharpen the serrated portion of the knife with the built in sharpner

    thanx!

  • We're glad you were compensated, as you should have been; however, if they don't fix the issue, fewer people will buy Gerber.

  • i have about a gazzilion hook knives because my uncle was a paratrooper and used it for his parachute cutting and always left them here and got new ones.

  • Mate, the Ka-Bar is ALL the knife you'll ever need. Open letters, kill men, gut animals, throwing, chopping, stabbing, cuts meat, and every think you can nearly think of.
