Excerpt/part 2: Dr. Helen Fisher, Biological Anthropologist at Rutgers University and Scientific Advisor at Chemistry.com and Match.com, talks about Lust, Romance, Attachment and the Drive to Love at LeWeb 08.
If we picture the members of the human race, each seated upon his, or her dragon, riding along a road which we call life, towards a distant goal which some call Happiness, others Fulfilment, and other God, we notice that there is a deep ditch filled with mud on either side of the road. The road itself is narrow and its surface is very bad. The dragons seem intent on throwing their riders, and the whole journey looks very difficult.
