Ozone is created by the action of sunlight on CO2. Ozone (O3) is not remotely the same as breathable oxygen (O2), it is highly toxic. What a moron. Carbon dioxide is relatively harmless, so accoring do Glenn's logic carbon monoxide should also be relatively harmless, afer all it is only 'de-activated' CO2, right? And the SARS epidemic? WTF is this man on about?

I have first hand experience with ozone poisoning. I did a job in Seattle where I was exposed to an ozone generator for odor control. I was around the machine for about 7 hours and I felt like I wanted to die. My chest and throat were raw, my joints ached, and I felt like I was 100 years old. Every odor I encountered for weeks after reminded me of rotting garbage. I was miserable. Finally, after 1 year I feel like my old self again. Now, whenever I see the word "ozone" I am very cautious. Peace.

Also, why is not ONE "air filtration" or "air purification" company have University backings for their products AND why is there not ONE TV newscast on the effectiveness of ANY of them, expect the system this man speaks about in this video?

@fishingthewatershed An ozone generator emitts higher than normal amounts of ozone and is NOT to be used in occupied spaces. The purpose of an ozone generator is for the removal if smoke related to a fire or some heavy odor abatement need.

An air purifier for residential use however that is put out by Vollara ( formerly EcoQuest ) as safe for occupied usage. So, whats the problem?

Learn the difference and learn HOW to use a product and there should be no problem.

Ozone is as natural as sunlight but this creep thinks that low levels of ozone must be "toxis" too.
