This is a recording of an electric bike I named the Electric Horse(tm) which I built while I was a refugee claimant in Canada, long story... Finally back and relatively free in the Corporate State of America, I wanted to race a horse and the good people at Appa-Lolly Ranch Riding Stable were nice enough to give me the chance. Well the camera tripod was stuck and clunky which made a lot of noise so at first I could not use much of the video. Since then I got some sound editing software to lessen the clunking a bit. Also when I see the people that were there they always remind me of the race and how great they thought the Electric Horse(tm) bike is even if the live and real horses kicked my but. Sorry I did not get this on Youtube sooner but now over 6 years later I hope it brings you all fond memories. Thanks again to Gina, Keith and all the people who were there. Oh and special thanks to Sarah who did the best with what we had on the camera. PL&H Ken
@achzdck The clunking is from the camera like I said in the caption. The motor is a niodymium mag motor and it is hooked up to a 6 speed transmission and a Curtis controller that also does regenergative breaking when going down hill or stoping. The only noise you can really hear from the bike is the wine or hum sound. It is pretty quiet and I have seen deer and bear very close up while riding it in the bush.
