Your videos are awesome. I'm a nursing student and your firsthand experience on how you do daily tasks is great info to pass along to other patients with new ostomies. Thank you!

Just get a backless fannypack lol, or wear a modified tool belt and pretend to be a handyman.

Thanks for the response. You are quite lean! I'm 5'9" and fluctuate between 127lbs and 133lbs. I'm not as lean as you though.

@rextony22 No problem! I had my colon removed and lived with this temporarily. Now I have an internal pouch made from my intestine that replaces the bag. Check out more of my videos as I explain in great detail the entire surgery process. Ulcerative colitis was the reason my colon needed to go.

You are very thin. How tall and how much do you weigh? Did having Colitis make you this thin?

I've always been thin and it's never bothered me or been a problem. Search for my video Ulcerative Colitis: Weight Problems to get a fuller explanation.
Basically, I was 150 lbs. 2.5 years ago when diagnosed. Since surgery, the highest I've been able to get is 145-146. I don't try very hard at gaining weight but I basically eat whatever I want and maintain a healthy and stable diet. Also, I am 6'3", which I know for my height I should weigh more to be on the bottom end of most recommendations.

I have a j-pouch. It's not a cure in the technical sense, but it does let one live a fairly normal life. Check out my videos on using my j-pouch and show them to your dad.
