Test Drive was still the better game :P

U.S.Gold had a bad reputation because they had so many licensed games that were actually piece of S***, but there were also good games too, Ocean was another one which had awful reputation but now ocean loader musics are classic.

Very good. According to my latest video, "Out Run Theme Goes With Everything", even Guile!

listening to all theses songs, your bassist needs to die, either that or tell him to turn his god damn bass down, cos that is the main thing i heard. yet i saw upwards of 2 guitars... some thing is wrong with that. rad band though, good bassist, but the music isnt what the bassist can play or do, it's all of it... the bassist jsut has to shut up :D

Ffs you twat.
It was the 80s.
80s - 8bit - 16bit.
90s - 16bit - 32bit, - 3d consoles + pcs.

CPC version was ok. The Atari ST version was rank.
Only good driving game for CPC 464 was Chase HQ, and maybe LeMans by Knomi/Ocean.
-
Jesus, was the CPC version worse than the 64s? damn , that must have been bad... :( least the SID gave some good damn music...

i thought outrun was decent enough for the time and incidentally,c64 buggy boy was faaaar superior to the better looking but shit controlling amiga version.

All i can say there was a few decent conversions of OUTRUN, and the fact you mentioned the AMSTRAD CPC version youve answered your own argument, the CPC version is rubbish probably the worst OUTRUN conversion ever made (even worse than the commodore 64).
The Spectrum 128k and the PC ENGINE version of outrun was arguely the best, the amiga and atari st versions were pretty poor, as was the c64.
were you around in the 80's and 90's? Did you know what it was all about? Games would come out in the arcades then they would be programmed onto the home computers by big software companys such as U.S Gold in this case.
The technology was NO WHERE NEAR as what it is today, most of them were excellent attempts. Comparing an 8 bit to a coin op just defies common sense!
