Today in Question Time, we saw the bureaucratic Kevin Rudd. He talked about 93 house fires, as a result of the failed housing insulation program, just being a rounding error. He just won't solve the problem. The PM should have the guts to sack Peter Garrett. Kevin Rudd is all talk and no action.

  • Kevin Rudd is not the PM our nation needs. We need a strong leader who can see the big plan and use action not words to move into the future.

  • We cannot afford these "bull at a gate" policies and kneejerk reactions. Appropriate consultation and debate as well as a little less arragonce is badly needed.

Mr Garret is a pleasant enough fellow, but he should have stuck with singing about politics......

  • Hm, I still prefer the Labor policies over the Liberal policies mostly, but the fact that the current government sadly has the blood of four Australian lives on its hands makes it a very difficult choice who to vote for in the next election. I have a close friend that works in Medibank Private though and can't vote for the Libs while they plan to sell it, maybe I will have to vote independant this time around. Keep up the good work in holding governments to account though Libs/Nats.

  • Have to admit for a government program it was pretty second rate, I've never seen so many door to door cowboys. Makes you worry what Australia will look like if these idiots continue in federal government. Australia under howard had some of the best electrical practices in the world.

  • ALP could not organize a root in a brothel

  • Apart from the insulation problems I think Labor has done a fairly good job considering the world has just exited from a global recession. Our political parties no matter which one should be speaking up in parliament to stop any program that would affect the life of any Australian. If the evidence was available mid last year of the Minter Ellison report then I would have expected more action by all in parliament not just one person.
