A tribute to Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman contender.

This is a parody of the 1962 song Johnny Angel, written by Lee Pockriss and Lyn Duddy, originally recorded by Shelly Fabares.

If you had a year like Texas A&M did, our first in the SEC, with a freshman quarterback, you'd be singing too!

From Wiki: The tradition began at a 1930 Midnight Yell Practice held before the football game against the TCU Horned Frogs. To excite the crowd, Pinky Downs, 1906 Texas A&M graduate and member of A&M Board of Regents, asked "What are we going to do to those Horned Frogs?" Using a term for frog hunting, he answered his own question, "Gig 'em, Aggies!" He made a fist with the thumb extended. The phrase and hand signal proved popular, and it became the first hand sign of the Southwest Conference

I had to get permission from the copyright holders. The original video was deactivated, I reposted a new video with a lead-in credit to Ivanhoe Music, and then the original video was reactivated.
