Police release surveillance video of woman robbing Circle K with rifle

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -
Charleston police released surveillance video of Tuesday's Circle K armed robbery. The video shows the female robbing the store with a rifle.

Police say the woman entered the store, place a tall cigarette dispenser in the door to prop it open, then proceeded to the register, holding the clerk at gunpoint. The Circle K is located on Savannah Highway and Savage Road and was robed early Tuesday morning.

Investigators say the suspect cursed repeatedly and told the clerk to open the register and hurry up. After getting some cash, the robber ran in the direction of the Melrose subdivision.

The suspect is described as a white female, possibly Hispanic, wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes and an orange bandanna covering her nose and mouth.
