What makes you think the point is to entice you to buy your own custom made shoes? No, you fool around with the app, think "this is so cool, I wish I could buy all these dope sneakers" - and then head for the nearest store to buy a pair of standard Nike sneakers .

The problem with the app is that it's only fun if you can actually buy all the shoes you design. Which isn't the case for *most* people. x]
