Danceversity performs an Egyptian cane dance

DANCEVERSITY (www.danceversity.com) is non-profit multicultural dance education program featuring an innovative, integrated curriculum of dance, music, folk arts, costuming, and cultural studies; providing the youth with a positive experience of different cultures at a formative age through weekly classes, a performance ensemble, school programs, and a comprehensive summer camp. By using dance as a platform for understanding culture and community, Danceversity teaches the youth to respect different cultures and their unique ways of relating to the world, while instilling an appreciation for the arts and promoting physical fitness.
