@playingwithfirehurts oh yes. too much lube means that you pick up sand and dirt easily, and it gets into the links and prematurely wares your chain and can cause it to snap. Since this is a fixie, there is far more chain tension than a bike with a derailleur, so it wares even faster.

@IronMayr ah yeah, i thought it was odd that you were running a half link on what seems to be a really streamlined roadbike. I really like the bike though. Just found the chain bit odd.
Yeah Kraken is the shit. I'm moving to Japan soon and building another bike. Hopefully I'll be able to find my lovely Kraken there. HAHA.

@bigtoepfer na just a no-name half link from work. and yes its prob backwards but its not a trick bike so it doesn't really matter. I just needed a chain that i wouldn't stretch out in 2 months.
