Police Brutality at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino - Tampa, Florida - 11-19-2009

This police officer had no official reason to stop me. I was convicted 3-23-2010 of resisting arrest without violence by 5 white jurors and 1 black juror. My sentence is 6 months probation but if i write a letter of apology to the police officer my probation would end today. The police officer that choked me and put me in the hosiptal and damaged my heart beyond 50%. After two days in the hospital having to take 14 medications at a cost of $600 per month. Possibly not able to have childern anymore and could die at any moment.

when u turn around acting like ur about to hit the cop what do expect him to do? just stand there? hes gunna protect himself, as far as police brutality goes, i see nothing wrong with what the cops did, they were trying to arrest u and u resisted. and cops dont just stop random people in casinos, they obviously had a reason. and way to pull the race card and say u were convicted because the jury was white, not because u broke the law or anything.

When security told you that you had to leave you should have just left not try to fight your point across because they dont care who you are and or what you do. you were in the wrong and you just got put back into your place. grow up and stop acting like a baby you are old enough to understand that you knew what was going to happen if you didnt.

I do have to say that the actions of the police officer were to standard. From the video, which is only identified by body language and actions taken, there is no telling what was said. With that, if this video was shown to the jury which I'm assuming it was, would've been consitant with a conviction of resisiting. Even if you did nothing wrong, or you may have been mistaken with someone else, your actions in this video are completely inappropriate, and it is apparent. Resisting, Not Brutality.
