Yep, they sound good. I like what you guys did with "River Man". Though it seems like you might've put more work in a few of them than this one.

I've seen many covers of "things behind the sun" most people tend to go the strum route for it. Just doesn't do it justice is all.

ok so you dabble in nick's play style a bit in the beginning. Sounds like you're onto something. I just wish you wouldn't have resorted to banging out chords.

Every guitar playing wanna be has proven banging on some chords and singing isn't a difficult thing to do. Just look at 99% of present day "rock."

I know its a pain in the ass, but hold out for the difficult pick patterns rifts, it is what sets apart the pros from the amateurs.

I have no problem picking out each note. It's a cover, it's not supposed to be note for note.

standard tuning? you mean i could play it? by the by, what's with these people who complain that it's 'too fast' or the pitch is 'too high' or whatever? doing a cover is not a contest to see how close someone can copy the original. if you want to listen to the original, listen to the original.
