This looks a whole lot like socialism, which didn't work for the Soviet Union at all. I agree with helping the poor but this would only work in a Utopian society.

@InsaneCain18 We've read the same comment probably a 1000 times already. If you truly care to create a solution then investigate all our videos and comments on equal money system is NOT communism - read the website, it's easy to judge yet it takes time to do proper research..

@InsaneCain18 It's not socialism, it's perfectly compatible with capitalism, markets and private property. What it is is distributive. It says everyone is a shareholder in our society and everyone gets a dividend. Moreover it's affordable and could be used to shrink the size of government. Replace most or all government programs with direct cash transfers to citizens and let citizens decide - really it is kind of a bridge between the philosophies of the left and the right.

@donteatthefishsticks It is a bridge indeed - however basic income grant is STILL within the bounds of capitalism which is not what we are all aiming to preserve here. This is a transitional 'bail-out' point toward the implementation of an Equal Money System. For now it is 'distributing the wealth' between people through BIG - in an Equal Money System it will be Equal Access to resources as a living right from birth to death.
