Here is a side by side experiment in growing algae, a fish food that can be produced from sunlight, waste, urine and water. With the proper pH spirulina can be produced. Algae is the most commonly consumed fish food by tilapia, carp and crawfish in the wild.

  • Algae is not filtered out, in fact we promote algae growth and then flush it into fish tanks along with zooplankton, microbes and semi aquatic organisms that all provide food. This method is now integrated into all of the Biogarden and Incubator modules. More at bioponica website.
