*SIGH*
Things would be worse if he lost, but things could be better.

Educate yourself, then perhaps there will be "hope" for you, too.
-
America has been crying for the last eight years. Enough is enough!
-
You're not an idiot. Without a belief in hope, 3/4 of this country would be out committing suicide from how they feel about the direction this country is going. We need hope. It has been a wonderful feeling for me to give up some of my cynicism and replace it with some hope. I didn't realize how much I had missed it in my life. But isn't that how we ended up so bad off? People gave up hope that Bush/Cheney could be stopped, that the world could be anything other than a dangerous place...

its funny we are going to let someone lead that has a year and half of experiences as a senator. Its sound like a joke.....
Maybe it is...

Oh yes, "hope", the magic word that inoculates Obama supporters from any criticism. And "cynicism", the big bad word reserved only for us dumb white folks who cling to guns and religion.
-
Wow, and I thought I was a cynical bitch. Look, Obama is going to disappoint and piss me off, no doubt. But I have to say that during this campaign, when I see what has been built, I also feel hope.
Sorry.

I know that there must be Obama supporters who go to McCain supporters' sites to say really negative things. I think that's uncalled for. If you fundamentally disagree with me, I cannot argue your beliefs.
I get a lot of ridicule, too, for being willing to be hopeful. That's something I have never heard a McCain supporter say - "McCain makes me feel hopeful for our future". Well, laugh away, I have hope! Obama's plans make me hopeful for our future. I am tired of living in fear. Here's hoping
-
hope! :)

Okay, we'll see what happens when he gets elected. It will be interesting to see if you become an apologist for Obama instead of a responsible citizen, much like what happened to Fox News after the 2000 election.
Wow, what an extremely vapid answer. Yes, you are an idiot for blindly believing in Barack Obama. Here's a thought: how about voting for a leader knowing he's not going to be perfect and holding him accountable for his actions? I guess that's asking too much of the Church of Obama. OK, you go ahead and keep thinking your god is infallible; I'll keep laughing at you.

I never said I 'blindly' believe in Obama and nobody, including Obama, says he's infallible or anything close to that..
Blind cynicism isn't a virtue.
