ALOHA and MAHALO.. mean Te TU Mataora, they are an awesome Kapahaka group from the Manawatu, Aotearoa. i bet my tutor for whakairo Tom Bishop and Craig Kawana made those taonga to give as gifts. i had heard about their trip to Hawaii, i knew it was awesome. the majority of this ropu teach or work or have studied at Te Wananga o Aotearoa and are so very talented. i love the Hawaiin culture and hope to go one day and watch this awesome festival! xx

If you like that, Youtube Te Matarae-i-o-Rehu, our National Kapa Haka Champs, these guys are great though. Oh and you want to view more than just two groups, there is a whole heap of groups at the Maori Television website, just google Maori Television and go to videos and look for Te Matatini o te ra. Nga mihi nei ki aku whanaunga no Hawaiki, nga kanaka maoli e manaaki nei i tenei roopu.
