Running Emulators with SwapMagic (Launchelf)

For anyone like myself who dosnt realy understand how to use Launchelf and run emulators heres a video that should help. i had to wrok all this out by asking forums and emailing people on youtube that have videos also talking about this. heres the files needed

I've been trying to do this but everytime Im in the step of adding the new dir BADATA-SYSTEM (min. 3:55) it says NewDir Failed. What am I doing wrong?

sorry for late reply i havent been on in ages. the place where you are making the folder is a virtual mem card on the ps3. did you create a ps2 mem card on the ps3 before starting and make sure its emtey(no saves). i forgot to mention this in the video sorz if this was the case

So you need a PS3 to work this and this emulator won't work with a PS2 Swap Magic?

iso files will run usuing usb loader. howeer the iso needs to be converted to files that usb extream will read. i may makde a video to show how to do this

theres one problem with that and its not that i wont do it. its that a copied version of swap magic will not run on a ps2 or ps3 hence why i bought it. i ve made copies in the past and it has said invalid disk if you go on pirate bay there is 1 on there its called swapmagic 3.6 cd & dvd. as you can see from the loverly comments it wont run as a copy. u actuly need eaither an older ersion of swapmagic or a chipped console.

hey can you make a iso file of your original swapmagic disk and then release it on a torrent website like piratebay and then we can burn it and use it please and btw and the files for the usb

ive found this issue is due to the memory stick./ some dont pick up at at like the datatraveler and the san disk freezes like you said. the only memory stick i have found to work is actually a produo for a psp using an adapter to make it usb. im trying other usb deices and if anyone else has made this work with a normal usb stick please state the make

the mj game is in a rom format for Sega Genesis Rom which runs in pgen ps2 or 3 backups do not work as of yet using these methods. look up Sega Genesis Roms for games that will run and add them tho the memory stick
