Following ones religion on a fundamental level ultimately leads to spiritual enlightenment.We're forced to LIVE under a false perception of the world ,our environment & our TRUE selves.I gave the taxi driver his fare this morning & realized he had a look like it's "1 of those days" expression on his face.Now I have to base this meeting on (I'm a paying passenger) yet he & I has a spirit that has no need 4 it, if I don't pay him I might get killed or arrested.Money is society's religion now! SAD!

But the MEN that put the holy scriptures together ( "The council of Nicea" adding & taking away what they felt necessary) to create the Holy Bible are the free ones, the ones in power. Those that are part of any organized religion are just feeding their greed and desire for more power by suppressing yours. Religion was created to make money and control the masses. @nudaydawning There may be some overseer of everything - but it has nothing to do with a book written by MAN. What religion was jesus? MAN mad religion! MAN made the bible! Sach star in the universe is NOT exactly the same distance apart!(where u get that??) There are BILLIONS are stars and even more planets...obviously some will be in the "goldielocks zone"... Some people are born into poverty, some aren't - It's all down to chance. There are most likely millions of other civ's in the universe.

@nudaydawning If you're right( that god exists )... Still, you're just taking it that the bible is the absolute truth... Like I said - give me ANY evidence that god exists and I will repent. Until then, I choose to live with an open mind and not be slave to some made up story written 2000 years ago. It really saddens me that people still after 2000 years, have failed to provide ANY proof, yet still believe this nonsense.. Good luck living your brainwashed life.

@nudaydawning Ok, then if u are not taking drugs then you are even further away from help than I thought. If u or anyone else can give me ANY evidence of gods existence, I will throw my hands up in the air and beg for mercy. Until then I'm going to live my life without the fear of going to hell for being a naughty boy(even though apparently god loves us unconditionally and eternally??)

Also, if you are right, who are you to decide what god will do with me?

If you really think the bible is the truth then you are seriously in for a let down. The bible is a story. There are no facts in it. No evidence to support it's claims. Has been changed many time throughout history to suit the perception of the public during the time of change and is full of inconsistencies. Please wake up - religion is just a means to control people and at the same time, build power, make money and start wars. Wake up my friend. Peace.

yes the Bibly is incomlete and don´t have ALL answers. If someone don´t believe me...search for the Gilgamesh Epos. The Gilgamesh Epos is MUCH older than the Bibel and......with the same stories!!

The Bibel were changed many times in the Middle Ages by the Church Leaders!! There were many councils, which should approximate the Bible to the different Christian faiths.
