Squirrel PC-Engine test MML (Splatterhouse tune)

Recorded with Ootake. Pardon the low image quality, I didn't think it was necessary to upload a 800mb video of a static picture ^_^. It also continues after the song. I forgot to press stop on the video recorder. Woo :)

This is a test run of Aetherbyte's new Squirrel MML music system.

It uses the MML instruction set detailed in the Hu7/Develo manuals, and aims to comply with 100% accuracy.

It will support all standard MML instructions, macros, loops, custom waves and envelopes, sweeps, and everything else you can find in the Develo manual.

The compiler is nearly ready for public release, as you can hear. There are just a few more kinks to work out before we let the world use it! When released it will come with a few example songs, a detailed instruction manual, and a test program to hear your songs!

It should also work with both HuCard and CD-ROM projects!

The song you are hearing is from Splatterhouse on the PC Engine. This is not a direct rip of the song. It is a recreation using Squirrel and some of the preset Waveforms and Envelopes. As such it doesn't sound EXACTLY like the game version!

It's still pretty cool :)

This one is good too. How about some more stuff you've worked on? Even if it's just screenshots of the new clone compilation you're working on, I'd love to see it in a video with some of that cool MML music added.
