  • The best way to 'suffer well' is to realize that we are ALL in this together. (COM = together, PASSION = suffering) Do your best to ease the suffering of others, see the beauty in life, but most of all, understand it and do NOT deny it!

The worst way is to hide away and pretend you are being 'taken care' of by some magical parent somewhere 'out there'.

"Our cause is never more in danger than when a human, no longer desiring but still intending, to do our Enemy's will, looks round upon a universe from which every trace of Him seems to have vanished, and asks why he has been forsaken, and still obeys." - said by Screwtape, a demon. The Scretape Letters, letter VIII, by C.S. Lewis.

  • @Intellectual4God don´t despair my friend. It happens to most people at some point, even the holiest of Christians throughout the years. Stay close to God and pray to Him with confidence, there is nothing in the world that can separate you from His love.

  • @Intellectual4God "though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."

"Consider it pure joy, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

  • Ugh, I myself am guilty of these things, i find myself often saying in my head "God doesnt love me, no on cares about me, oh poor me" and pulling the "why me" card, saying "why does this crap happen to me and no one else"

Yes despite what the bible says i somehow STILL find myself saying these things, i guess self pity and quick jumping to sadness is one of my weaknesses. I know God loves me as the bible says so why do i keep telling myself he doesnt? this is probably making things worse on me

  • pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. fix your mind on the kingdom of God and no external forces can get underneath your skin for a long period of time.

  • Good video!

  • God is blessed when we bear up under suffering while suffering unjustly.
