There is a lot to learn from this video. First off, look at where she stands in regard to the plate. She is very close to it. As a result she has to have the head of the bat way out in front of the plate to get her arms extended. This tends to counter her comment about seeing the ball for as long as possible. Move back and you can extend your arms with the bat right over the plate. This will give you more time to see the ball and allow you to hit to all fields with power.
